Emma’s work includes residential, hospitality, and commercial buildings. She is particularly skilled at synthesising the architectural, social, and historical contexts of a project to arrive at a detailed design solution that responds intelligently to its surroundings.
She is adept at navigating the complexities of planning and regulation, engaging with communities to deliver schemes which unlock value for clients and respond to wider local needs.
Emma has significant residential experience including private homes, Build to Rent schemes and co-living projects, and has delivered high-quality designs which satisfy the demands of clients and planners, contribute to a wider community and offer lasting value. Her hospitality experience encompasses high-end urban projects, such as Nobu Hotel in Shoreditch, to contemporary rural destination resorts at Priory Bay and Retallack which demonstrate a strong sense of place. Emma has also delivered commercial projects for Derwent, CLI Dartriver, and PRMO.
As a Director, Emma oversees our internal mentoring programmes and helps foster a collaborative design culture where ideas are tested and refined through collective effort. She also leads on our Quality Management Systems and resourcing, ensuring projects are supported by the right blend of people, skills and experience.
