International Art dealers Hauser & Wirth needed to expand their London gallery on Savile Row. Ben Adams Architects collaborated with New York practice Selldorf Architects to design new private galleries and support spaces.
Private clients come to Hauser & Wirth to discuss individual pieces of art, or whole collections, and need appropriate spaces in which to view the work, discuss its merits and situate it in the wider art world. This project creates two new galleries, a library lined in caramelised oak, private offices for the directors and an open plan area reception area.

Hauser & Wirth are delighted with their new floor for private clients. It enables them to talk to dealers and collectors in an intimate setting that supports the larger gallery spaces on the ground floor.
