Lovisa is a dedicated and aspiring architect with a passion for heritage, re-appropriation as well as contemporary builds. She grew up moving between Sweden, Malaysia and the United Kingdom before starting her architectural education at the University of Edinburgh. This exposure to different cultures and diversity from an early age fostered a fascination for the built environment. She is interested in the interrelationship between people and their surroundings; to take part in the process of creating spaces that have a meaningful impact on its users motivates her professional work.
Lovisa’s early working summers at Wingårdhs in Malmö concentrated on the largest Scandinavian shopping centre at the time, Emporia. She spent her university placement period at B+O, Netherlands developing projects aimed towards sustainable and cost-effective solutions including family homes and specialised healthcare and retail properties. Now working in London she has experience with fast paced competitions and masterplan feasibility studies as well as high-end residential projects.
Outside of work she loves being outdoors, preferably near the sea, and travelling - eating her way through new cities with family and friends.
