Daniel is skilled in the production of convincing design concepts and the understanding of client needs, often envisioning attractive solutions to difficult constraints. He has broad experience across various sectors ranging from master-planning, residential, commercial, infrastructure, hospitality and leisure.
Whilst at Ben Adams Architects, his work on Sevenoaks Nature & Wellbeing Centre was shortlisted for the international RIBA competition where it demonstrated the implementation of highly sustainable design within a remarkably small budget. When studying for his masters at Kingston University he was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal for his design for a winery that addressed the intangible cultural heritage of Pico - a viticultural island and UNESCO world heritage site in the Azores archipelago.
Daniel has worked on a range of construction projects including 200 Hammersmith Road and Warnford Court where he has considerable on-site experience working with contractors to engineer elegant solutions to complex problems. When coupled with interests in photography and industrial design this contributes towards Daniel’s enthusiasm for architectural detailing. Through varied experience in designing for a variety of scales he has developed an approach that successfully considers the factors of creativity, ergonomics, program and budget.
