Ciaran graduated with his BA(Hons) and MArch at Ulster University in Northern Ireland. Throughout his studies he has developed a special interest for the importance of heritage and conservation, primarily focusing on the urban stitching of cities and how demolition of historic buildings has an impact on the physical and social environment. His dissertation and thesis designs demonstrated examples of incorporating and enhancing architectural features of historic value while still focusing on contemporary design.
Ciaran has worked for leading architecture practices in Northern Ireland, gaining experience in commercial, education, conservation and housing projects. He recently moved to London after taking time off to travel around Asia.
Outside of work you will most likely find Ciaran with his camera in hand exploring and travelling. He also loves art, having won several competitions where his artwork is on permanent display in The Gallery, Belfast.
